Lightspeed uses cookies and other web technologies, such as pixel tags and web beacons, that enable the analysis of the use of a website.
A cookie is a small text file which is stored by the server of a website on your computer or mobile device. Later on, the server can consult or read out the content of this cookie. Your web browser manages cookies. In this cookie statement, we explain what cookies are placed and with what purpose we do this.
Remembering settings
We use cookies to remember your settings and preferences, making sure we do not have to ask you again. It concerns the following settings and preferences:

Functioning of the website

Tracking and profiling
We use so called ‘tracking cookies’ to create a profile of you. We can also request this tracking cookie in case you visit another website within our network. This way we can find out that you have been on these other websites, besides our website.
The profile we created of you serves to show you advertisements that are actually relevant for you, based on your profile. If you have shared your email address through our website we will link this profile to our profile in the CRM database.
Google analytics
Through our Website, Google will place a cookie as part of the “Google Analytics” service. We also use tracking cookies to create a profile of you through this tool. We can request this tracking cookie when you visit another website within our network as well. This way we can find out that you have been on other websites, besides the one you visited.
We are using this service to receive reports and information on how our visitors use the Website. Google can transfer this data to third parties when Google is legally obliged to do so, or in case third parties process this information on behalf of Google. This means we have no influence on this whatsoever. We allowed Google to use the obtained information for other Google services. We signed a processors agreement with Google regarding the way they handle personal data. The information will be transferred to and saved by Google on servers in the United States.
Social media buttons
We added social media buttons in order to promote webpages and share them on social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, AddThis. These buttons place cookies.
These buttons work through snippets of code that originate from these social networks. This means we have no influence on them whatsoever. Therefore, please read the privacy policy of these social networks to understand what they do with the (personal) data they receive through these cookies.
Managing your cookie settings
